				The 'La Griglia" restaurant is an Italian movie come alive. Imagine the set of Federico Fellini's eternal movie the 'Roma'. The 'La Griglia' restaurant is the stage for this scene. Ionic pillars forming an ancient Roman house, embracing and dividing the spaces. Noble and proportional architecture directs your attention to the perfect Italian cuisine. On the Menu was oyster, and lasagne that would taste perfect to a sensitive taste. You will enjoy being offered Ferrari and Mum Champagne. The atmosphere is serene and the service is fast. Often there is entertainment in the form of singers such as Achieng Abura and the Bomas of Kenya Dancers. It is the perfect forge of Kenya and Italy.



				From outside the classical Art Deco style of the building and the calligraphy clearly refers to the classical American, New Yorker design style of the nineteen forties. Inside is a restaurant and bar and deep inside is "The" disco. Cutting edge arena, brilliant lighting, every trick and play with sound and lighting systems and a crowd, which is obviously addicted to this disco experience.



				Jardin Lona means Lona's Garden. This is the place to go to for tranquillity, for seclusion. This is a very hospitable place, it has a well stocked bar, swimming pool a family wing, and of course a beautiful garden (Jardin). Lona is a real person; you can meet her and trust her assuring smile and glittering sparks in her eyes while she helps you choose what to eat. Lona's husband, Dr. Harry happens to be the only veterinary doctor (dottore) in Malindi, who deals with small animals. So, do not hesitate if you have pets, this is the hotel where you will be very much welcomed.



				At coral key, Friday night discos are particularly popular. also their theme nights which are an experience that we highly recommend. The theme nights include Paella nights (Spanish theme) and the Bavarian nights – for KSh. 1,000 you can down as many drafts beers as you wish and you can munch your way through an unlimited number of German sausages!



				Fermento is a vibrant place, perfect for a great party. And for KSh. 1,000 at the door, you can pick absolutely any drink as a first drink. With its immaculately done interiors and great atmosphere, this is the place for a super-charged night.



				For a perfect leisurely, sunny afternoon relaxing as you slowly sip on your coffee while you read a good book, or a chat with friends this is the place for you. The ambience is so peaceful and serene you won’t want to budge!



				Here you get to eat really good Italian food at unbelievable prices. The name Trattoria is usually used to refer to the eating stops that serve up good Italian food at very good prices. This is a new place right in the Town centre. It is managed by the same group that manages Coral Key.



				For the best T-bone Florentina, look no further, Kingfisher has the most succulent ones. It is situated just 10 minutes from Malindi you will enjoy the tranquillity, relaxing around the lovely lush gardens and the pool. They also have elegant dining “Under the Stars”.

				You will find their English style and their lovely manicured gardens quite irresistible. The owners tend to every little detail making it well-maintained. No wonder they won an award! Their spacious rooms were another joy. Space seems to be an important thing here; as the owner, Esposito, puts it “Africa is about space”.



				For the best Risotto in Malindi, this is where to go. Rosada is a restaurant on the beach that has the loveliest, most well done interiors and a pleasant ambience. They a good white sandy beach where you can sunbath and sip your drink.



				For the best mango juice (thick, fresh, cool and with no additives) and oh, their ice- cream is such a melt-in-your-mouth treat! In all the flavours you can imagine! The restaurant is situated next Coral key.



				At the Karibuni Villas, you will fall heavily under the spell of that to-die-for tranquil ambience.
