There are many restaurants from the simple to the sublime. You will find Italian regional specialities, local Swahili or Kenyan food, Indian, International and even game meat. There are excellent bakeries and ice cream parlours and cafes where you can sip a cappuccino and watch the world stroll by. In the evening visit a piano bar, nightclub or discotheque. There is a rotating discotheque system in several hotels, so on that particular night that hotel is the place to go. There are also two permanent discotheques, the larger of the two providing lots of special entertainment, concerts, shows and television broadcast events. Hotels put on entertainment for their guests, and those staying in hotels can attend.

Casino Malindi is a popular stop; its bright lights and exciting atmosphere attract visitors who often stay all night. The town really comes alive late in the evening.
